In a rare
celestial spectacle, seven planets would line up in conjunction in the
wee hours on May 15, portending an ominous effect on human lives and
certain nations, say several astrologers.
The conjunction
process has already begun and has shown its impact on Pakistan where
a suicide bomb blast has killed 12 French nationals at a Karachi hotel.
It would further cause not only embarrassment to Pakistan but financial
loss too, says Arun Bansal, editor of an astrological magazine.
Pakistan’s
‘lagna’ is Aeries. All the planets in conjunction are in the second
house of Pakistan and it would lead to loss of money. Its second house
is also ‘maraka-sthan’ and Islamabad would be losing its face in
the international arena, Mr Bansal said.
Saturn,
Mars, Venus, Mercury, Rahu, Sun as well as Moon will be clustered in
the sky on the night of May 14-15 for three hours from 0242 hours to
0545 hours.
Since
India’s ‘lagna’ is Taurus in which all these plants are gathering,
India may face border conflict with Pakistan, says Ms Suman Pandit,
an astrologer. It requires heightened vigil by Army, which is already
deployed on the border.
This conjunction of seven planets is in Taurus
‘rashi’ which is ‘lagna’ for India. In mundane astrology, Taurus
‘lagna’ represents head. Geographically, Jammu and Kashmir is the
head area of the country and politically national capital Delhi represents
the head of the nation, says Ms Pandit, adding that these two regions
may face some serious problems.
From July 2002 both India and Pakistan are
undergoing ‘shani ki sade sati’ as Saturn will enter from
Taurus to Gemini. Their bilateral relations would remain strained but
they would be straightened out by December 2009 when ‘sade sati’
ends, says Ashok Bhatia, who runs an astrological institute in West
Delhi.
Intellectuals,
economists and leaders should exercise restrain I and they should not
try to provoke the vulnerable situations, otherwise it may lead to deterioration
in law and order situation, says Ms Pandit, adding that on June 6 Saturn
is conjuncting with Rahu, fanatical elements like terrorists may raise
their ugly heads in India and elsewhere in the world.
In this
phase, ‘shani’ is transitting through ‘rohini nakshatra’ as
this phenomenon occurred in 1942 and 1971. In 1942 India got entangled
in the World War II and in 1971 it faced war with Pakistan and in 2002
similar war-like situation is expected between India and Pakistan, says
Ms Pandit. Kargil war happened at a time in 1999 when five planets were
conjunct, adds Mr Bhatia.
Ms Gayatri
Vasudev, in her astrological magazine from Bangalore, says that in the
lunar year “Chitrabhanu” 2002-2003, it would see two changes at
the top level of the Indian government and “national mourning” cannot
be ruled out. War against terrorism is a long drawn but it may pick
up by the time ‘rahu’ conjuncts with Saturn in June this year, she
added. Despite all strife and problems,India would emerge stronger by
the end of this year, says Ms Pandit.
