It was
only because of the articles in Hindu on building construction by your
department dated 7.10.2007 titled Selecting an architect to evolve plans
by Mr. Pratap Rao, Architect; Article dated 8.10.2007 titled Action
against building rule violations begins in city by V.S. Palaniappan;
Article dated 10.10.2007 titled Local Planning Authority steps up drive
against violations of building rules in City by Staff Reporter that
opened my eyes as I was getting a building constructed in my land at
Podanur. I immediately asked the architect and the contractor to display
in the front of the building the sketch of the approved plan / building
plan approval number / plan permission number etc., needed in section
49 of the Town city planning act of 1971. After taking an advance of
Rs.Nine lakhs and within one month informing me that this amount has
been used for construction and I should pay again Rs. Ten lakhs or other
wise stop the construction work while I was undergoing post surgery
treatment for cancer at Bangalore as there was an infection. This was
even before applying for plan approval as agreed by him.

B.Parthiban are attached with this letter with my complaint to the Inspector
of Police, Economic Offence Wing,Commissioner of Police Complex
Coimbatore for your reference coming to 63 sheets.
As the
contractor and the Architect have without caring to fulfill the law
before starting the construction as agreed in the letter of 13.4.2007
to the town Panchayat copied to me and the construction already done
is worse than 3rd rate and not according to the specifications
and drawings submitted by the architect which are all mentioned in the
criminal complaint to Police I would be thankful if you will kindly
get the construction in my premises demolished being contravening section
49 of the town and city planning Act of 1971 and take criminal action
against them for cheating.
